HUGH HOLLAND: LOCALS ONLY

After stumbling by chance upon the universe of Californian skaters one afternoon in 1975,
Hugh Holland spent the next 3 years photographing kids from Venice Beach,Los Angeles to the San Fernando Valley , moments of pure beauty.
Long blonde hair, young people with tanned skins, Vans, sunny landscapes,skateboards and a time where empty pools were the ultimate haven and skaters nurtured the idea of being vertical.
He published it all in a book called LOCALS ONLY and it's available at the webshop off colette 

His photographs will be exhibited at M + B gallery's booth at Paris Photo.
