DUNHILL AW2010

Kim Jones at Dunhill brought the English heritage brand firmly back in business. The collection oozed Patrick Bateman transposed into the English countryside. By this, I mean it was sharp but preppy - in a thoroughly English way. The tailoring of the jackets was sharp and business-like, in camel and black. There were sheepskin collars and socks over trousers and dandy-perfect shoes. The styling was immaculate. There were briefcases, books, boxes, driving gloves and cartridge holders; all giving the tongue-in-cheek, playful feel of ‘reality’. Text Becky Cope
